A born logical and analytical thinker David Lees has over 30 years of experience working in a variety of roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He attributes his passion for animal health to his favourite cat, who was named Chaos.
Prior to Argenta, David worked in API manufacture at GlaxoSmithKline in the Quality and Technical space in Analytical Chemist roles. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Honours (BSc Hons) in Chemistry at St Andrews University, he started his career as a Scientific Officer in the Ministry of Defence. He has since performed roles including Development Chemist, Validation Leader, Analytical Team Leader and Technical Operations Manager. He also worked in medical device manufacture at Johnson & Johnson as a manufacturing Team Leader and at Novartis, now Elanco, as the site Head of Quality.
